EPCOT Shopping Priorities: What to Put at the Top of Your List

When people talk about EPCOT, the first thing that usually comes up is food (hello, snacks from around the world!) or the attractions (hello, Soarin’). But honestly? Shopping at EPCOT is an adventure all on its own. Between unique imports, drool-worthy treats, and park-exclusive merch, it’s easy to spend hours wandering the shops.
Since time (and budget) are limited, I’ve made a little priority list of the EPCOT shops that deserve a spot on your must-do list.
1. Creations Shop (Park Exclusive Merch)
This is EPCOT’s flagship store and a must-visit if you want official Disney gear. Think spirit jerseys, Minnie ears, MagicBands, mugs, plushes—basically everything Disney in one bright, modern shop. If you only have time for one shopping stop, this is the one you don’t want to skip. Bonus: it’s right near the park entrance, so you can swing in on your way in or out.
2. House of Good Fortune (China Pavilion Imports)
This shop is like stepping straight into a marketplace in China. You’ll find everything from traditional fans, silk robes, and teapots to quirky snacks and toys. It’s a fun stop if you’re looking for something unique that you won’t find back home. I love browsing here just for the variety—it feels like a treasure hunt!
3. Mitsukoshi Department Store (Japan Pavilion Imports)
This store is HUGE and honestly could take up a whole afternoon if you let it. You’ll find anime merch, Japanese candy, beauty products, kitchenware, and even kimonos. There’s also the “pick a pearl” experience, where you choose an oyster and keep the pearl inside—it’s such a fun souvenir! Mitsukoshi is the kind of shop where everyone in the family can find something that makes them happy.
4. Karamell-Küche (Germany Pavilion Caramel Treats)
Okay, technically this is a treat shop, but let’s be real: shopping can totally mean edible souvenirs. The smell alone will pull you inside (thanks to Werther’s Original). You’ll find caramel popcorn, handmade caramel squares, caramel apples, and more. My best advice? Buy extra to take back to your hotel room—you’ll thank yourself later.
My Shopping Strategy at EPCOT
When it comes to shopping, my rule is: Creations Shop first, imports second, snacks last. I like to grab my Disney merch early so I don’t forget, then wander through the unique international finds at House of Good Fortune and Mitsukoshi, and finally reward myself with a caramel treat on the way out.
EPCOT’s shopping is as much a part of the experience as the rides and food, so don’t overlook it. Even if you’re not planning on buying a lot, the atmosphere in these shops is half the fun.
