Magic Kingdom: My Ideal Genie+ & Lightning Lane Gameplan
If I had it my way, I’d probably split Magic Kingdom into two approaches over two days (ideally, not guaranteed!):
One day focusing on Individual Lightning Lanes (ILLs)
Another day focusing on Genie+ selections
Here’s how my ideal Genie+ day might look:
Rope drop: Start with The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh—a gentle, low-effort ride to ease into the day.
First Genie+ selection: Peter Pan’s Flight (because it’s iconic and always popular).
If we can: Hit Space Mountain next.
Other priority rides I’m keeping in mind (at the time of making this plan):
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (currently uncertain if open, but a must if it’s available)
Haunted Mansion (another Genie+ priority)
Stacking options for lower-effort rides or second selections:
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
“It’s a Small World”
Mad Tea Party
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Pirates of the Caribbean
Tomorrowland Speedway
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
These are perfect for pacing myself while still hitting classics, especially if I want to maximize Genie+ efficiently.
