When Posh Peanut announced they were dropping a Harry Potter collection, I didn’t hesitate—I set a reminder immediately. I’ve heard about Posh Peanut for years but never took the plunge… until now. And honestly, what better excuse than Hogwarts-inspired pajamas?
We are a big Harry Potter household. When my son was 9 ¾ months old (yes, that exact number), we had him “sort” into his Hogwarts house. SPOILER ALERT: he picked Ravenclaw. Honestly, he fits right in—analytical, curious, and already side-eyeing my Slytherin tendencies. Follow along in my storytime with this video!
The Drop Day Chaos
Here’s where things got funny. I was at the outlets in Delaware, deep in the back of Old Navy with my toddler, trying to scavenge some good sale finds, when my phone alarm went off. DROP TIME.
Panic mode: activated.
Service: terrible.
Toddler: feral.
I’d never done a Posh Peanut drop before, so I wasn’t sure how fast things would sell out. I’m frantically refreshing in the corner of Old Navy like I’m buying concert tickets, not pajamas.
First in cart: the Harry Potter Ravenclaw Uniform Pajamas and the Ravenclaw Convertible One Piece for my son. No brainer. Then my Slytherin heart spotted the Slytherin Women’s Loose Tee—instant must-have.
At this point, my heart rate was finally starting to normalize. Then it hit me—I didn’t get anything for my husband. Back on the site I went (with one bar of service), snagging the Gryffindor Men’s French Terry Relaxed Pants. Balance in the wizarding world was restored.
Oh, and because I’m a sucker for matching bestie-mom moments, I also added the Ravenclaw French Terry Zippered Hoodie for my toddler, since my friend bought one for her Ravenclaw kid. Now our boys can match—because why not?

The Verdict
When the haul arrived, I finally understood the hype. Posh Peanut pajamas are:
Breathable (because toddlers are basically heaters in footie pajamas)
Lightweight and stretchy (hello, growth spurts)
Soft and delicate (perfect for sensitive skin)
Actually award-winning (which makes me feel like I’m winning at parenting)
Basically, I’m converted. 100% a Posh Peanut mom now.
So here I am, already stalking their site, waiting to see what the next collection will be. Something tells me my toddler’s closet (and okay, mine too) is about to get a lot more magical.
Tell me—if you’re a fellow Posh Peanut fan, which collection drop has been your favorite so far?
