The Disney Reservations I’m Crossing My Fingers For

Planning a Disney World trip feels like planning a wedding sometimes—so many moving parts, so much excitement, and a little bit of nervous energy about whether everything will actually line up the way I picture it. For me, the reservations I’m hoping to snag are at the top of that list. They’re not just about food—they’re about moments, memories, and a few little dreams I’ve carried into this trip.

Ohana Breakfast: Our First Full Disney Morning 🌺

On our very first real day in Disney World, I want us to start with breakfast at Ohana before we wander over to Disney Springs. With a toddler, I know we’ll be up early enough to make it work—toddler life doesn’t exactly come with sleep-ins.

This one is all about the characters. I’m a huge Stitch fan, my mom loves Pluto, and my son will get to meet his very first Mickey here. I love the idea of starting the trip by surrounding ourselves with characters that mean so much to each of us, while also filling up on that famous Ohana breakfast. It just feels like the right way to set the tone for the trip—fun, cozy, and magical.

Crystal Palace: Sentimental Ending to the Trip 🐻🍯

I’m hoping to bookend our stay with character breakfasts, and Crystal Palace is at the top of my list for our last day. This one is especially sentimental for me because on my very first Disney trip, I had breakfast here and met the characters. Being able to recreate that tradition with my own son feels like a full-circle moment.

This is also the day we’re planning to take it slower at Magic Kingdom. The biggest highlight? My son will get his very first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop. He’ll be about 2.5 years old by the time of the trip, which feels like the sweetest age for a “first haircut” milestone. I can already picture the family photos afterward—fresh haircut, big smiles, and memories we’ll hold onto forever.

Teppan Edo: A Foodie Must-Do 🍣🔥

The last reservation on my list is Teppan Edo at EPCOT. I’m a hibachi lover through and through, so this one feels like a non-negotiable for me. It’s not just about the food—it’s about the whole experience, from the sizzling grills to the fun presentation. I’ve even heard they do a volcano Mickey ears with the onions, and honestly, that sealed the deal for me.

I know EPCOT has a million amazing food options, but Teppan Edo is the one that makes my heart race with excitement. It’s the reservation I’ll be most determined to lock in when the booking window opens.

Wrapping It All Up

So those are my top three “must-get” meal reservations for our upcoming Disney trip. Each one means something a little different: starting the trip with Ohana and the characters we love, ending it with a sentimental Crystal Palace breakfast (and a milestone haircut), and indulging in a hibachi experience at Teppan Edo that I’ve been dreaming about.

I know not everything always goes according to plan with Disney dining reservations, but even just hoping and dreaming about these meals makes the trip feel real. And if we pull them all off? Well, I think it’ll be the perfect mix of magic, nostalgia, and good food.
