Treating Disney Springs Like a Park Day (Because It Kinda Is)

When I say Disney Springs is part of the plan, I mean it. No, it’s not one of the four big parks—but you better believe I treat it like a whole mission. There’s food, special experiences, shopping (oh the shopping), and a whole lot of energy management if you're going with a toddler like we are.
In the TikTok above, you’ll see me walking through my Disney Springs day using Notion. I like to treat it like a “loose itinerary” — just enough structure so we’re not wandering around aimlessly, but flexible enough that we can stop for snacks or meltdown breaks without stress. Dining Plans (…Kind Of)
Let’s just say this: I’m not 100% sure where we’re eating yet. There are a ton of options at Disney Springs, and I’m keeping it open because I want to feel out the vibe that day.
That said — we’ll definitely be eating lunch there, and maybe dinner too if everyone holds it together. I’m also not above declaring coffee and a cookie from Gideon’s as a full meal.
Speaking of…
Gideon’s Bakehouse = Non-Negotiable
I don’t care if it’s overhyped. I don’t care if it takes forever. I’m going. I want to experience Gideon’s Bakehouse at least once in my life, and this is the trip. Marked it off in Notion. Set the intention. Manifesting the cookie.
Special Experiences: Slow & Sweet
One of the few “rides” at Disney Springs is the carousel, and we’re planning to stop there. It’s perfect for toddlers — slow enough not to overwhelm, cute enough for great photos, and just… a little moment of magic in the middle of all the shopping chaos.
There are a few other fun experiences too, but this is the one we’re prioritizing.
Shopping = The Real Main Event
Let’s be real: this is the part I’m truly planning for.
We’re definitely stopping by the Character Warehouse at the outlets sometime that day — but the focus is really Disney Springs itself. I have a little hit list of stores I want to be intentional about visiting (or at least wandering into with purpose, instead of just letting the chaos swallow me).
And yes, I absolutely think it’s illegal to go to Disney Springs without visiting World of Disney. That place is like Main Street USA but on shopping steroids.
Planning with Intention (Not Perfection)
This isn’t a down-to-the-minute plan. It’s just me marking out the priority spots — the things I don’t want to miss, the experiences I want to make room for, and the places I’ll be dragging everyone into no matter how tired they are.
If you want to watch me walk through it visually and get a peek inside my Notion dashboard, check out the TikTok above.
