I’ve been on a mission to drink more water lately, and honestly, it hasn’t been going great. I’m the type who forgets about my water bottle until 8pm, then realizes I’ve had maybe five sips all day. So when I stumbled across the HydroJug Traveler, I decided it was worth a shot. I went with the 20oz size in lavender—because if I’m going to attempt a new hydration routine, it might as well look cute while I do it.

The first thing I noticed? This thing is really built well. The flip straw locks down completely so I don’t have to worry about leaks, and it even has a little tab to keep it clean when it’s closed. The handle feels comfortable to carry, and the insulation is no joke. I poured in water and ice when I first got it, and hours later I was still sipping icy cold water. That was the moment I thought—okay, maybe this is the hydration helper I needed.

Features I Noticed Right Away

  • Leakproof flip straw with hygienic flip tab

  • Triple wall insulation that actually keeps water cold

  • Removable silicone boot to protect the bottom

  • Cupholder compatible (finally!)

  • Dishwasher safe and super durable

  • Available in 20oz, 32oz, and 40oz with over 30 colors

I know a lot of people go straight for the 40oz bottles, but I specifically chose the 20oz because big bottles overwhelm me. For me, it feels like an accomplishment to actually finish the water I have, refill, and start again. That little reset makes me feel like I’m making progress. It’s a small mental trick, but it works.

So far, I’ve been carrying it around everywhere—coffee runs, errands, even in the car since it actually fits in the cupholder. And of course, the lavender color makes me smile every time I grab it. If I’m going to work on a habit I’ve always struggled with, at least I get to do it with something that feels functional and pretty.

I’ll be honest—I’m not magically a water-drinking queen yet. But this feels like a step in the right direction, and I’m excited to see if this little tumbler helps me turn things around. Over thirty colors, three sizes, dishwasher safe, and durable? I can already see how people end up collecting these.
