Baby Shower Table Themes — Weeks & Memories

When it came to planning my baby shower, I knew I couldn’t pick just one theme. I’ve never been the “matchy-matchy” type anyway — I like a little chaos with a side of color. So instead of sticking to a single theme, I went with a green-and-blue color scheme I loved and decided to make each table unique, interactive, and full of memories. Honestly, my friends probably thought I was a little extra—but isn’t that part of the fun?

Each table represented a week of my pregnancy, showing how big the baby was and including a special memory or milestone from that week. Here’s a peek at how I brought it all together:

3 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Piece of Sugar

  • Decor: I filled a small case with blue and white sugar. Simple, sweet, and, yes, a little literal.

  • Memory: The moment I found out I was pregnant. Honestly, that first “positive” test felt like discovering a tiny miracle—and also a tiny plot twist in my life.

8 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Marble

  • Decor: A vase filled with blue, green, and white glass marble pieces. A little whimsical, a little artsy—exactly how I felt during my first ultrasound.

  • Memory: First ultrasound and the moment we told our parents. Seeing that tiny flicker of life on the screen? Absolutely surreal.

12 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Ball Pit Ball

  • Decor: Vase filled with green, blue, and white ball pit balls. Because if you can’t have a tiny indoor playground at your baby shower, what’s the point?

  • Memory: Officially announcing the pregnancy. Watching friends and family react with joy (and maybe some happy tears) is a memory I’ll never forget.

14 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Shuttlecock

  • Decor: A vase full of shuttlecocks. Because who doesn’t need a little quirky sports equipment in their life?

  • Memory: Finding out we were having a boy. Cue the happy tears, tiny boy-themed dreams, and the sudden realization that life was about to get a whole lot more colorful.

19 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Cornhole Bag

  • Decor: A 4-pack of cornhole bags in a blue-green ombre. Functional? No. Adorable? Absolutely.

  • Memory: The anatomy scan. That moment when everything is measured, checked, and perfectly healthy? Life-changing.

20 Weeks – Baby is the Length of a Beanie Baby

  • Decor: A few Beanie Babies dug out from the depths of the basement. Because nostalgia pairs perfectly with anticipation.

  • Memory: Feeling the first flutter. Tiny little kicks that made it all feel real. My heart, apparently, had a tiny dance party of its own.

The whole point of this shower was to make it fun, interactive, and sentimental. Guests could wander from table to table, reading memories, guessing sizes, and maybe even sneaking a marble or two. Each table told a story—not just about my pregnancy, but about all the moments that made me feel excited, nervous, and completely in love with the tiny human growing inside me.

At the end of the day, baby showers don’t have to follow strict rules. Sometimes, a little creativity, a lot of color, and some personal memories are all you need to make a day unforgettable. And if you happen to throw in shuttlecocks and Beanie Babies? Well, that just makes it extra.
