Fueling Up at Rise Up Coffee in Ocean City

We got up super early on our last day in Ocean City—because we went to bed early with our toddler and, well, mornings come fast when you’ve got little ones. Plus, we had mini golf on the agenda before hitting the road. Basically… I needed coffee to survive.
Enter Rise Up Coffee.

This spot is right over the bridge, basically next to the Ocean City outlets. Which makes it a dangerous combo for me—coffee and shopping? Yes, please.
Inside, Rise Up has such a fun, welcoming vibe. There’s the main ordering area, shelves of their organic coffee and teas you can buy to take home, a kitchen window for food orders, and a cozy seating area. They also have merch (and I was definitely tempted by a cute mug or two). Bonus points: Rise Up is celebrating 20 years with 13 locations across Maryland and Delaware, so they clearly know what they’re doing.
And let me just say—the menu has great morning options. Food-wise, they’ve got breakfast burritos, burrito bowls, sandwiches, avocado toast, eggs, skillet potatoes, seasonal fruit, and more. Basically, everything you could want when you’re running on very little sleep. My husband got one of the breakfast burritos and really liked it!
The drinks? Coffee heaven. Cold brew, organic brewed coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, teas, nitro, you name it. Plus, they have frozen drinks like coffee smoothies, banana-coffee smoothies, chocolate-banana smoothies, frozen chai, matcha, and even frozen hot chocolate.
We ordered a cold brew and an iced latte, and honestly, they hit the spot. Smooth, strong, and exactly what I needed before tackling mini golf and the long trip back home with a toddler.
If you’re planning an Ocean City getaway, make Rise Up one of your first (or last) stops. It’s the kind of coffee that powers you through busy beach days and road trips home.
